1. Full Pose Approach for Enhanced Flexibility

With Cambrian Vision 2.0, we introduce the Full Pose approach. Unlike the standard method that requires re-training when pick points change, the Full Pose model allows you to train once and then make adjustments to pick points without re-training. This means faster workflows and reduced dependence on Cambrian support, giving you more control over your robotic systems.

  • Train once, tweak later: Edit grasp points after the model has been trained.
  • Greater autonomy: Full control over pick point adjustments, speeding up operations and lowering the need for external assistance.

 

2. Train Your Own Models

For the first time, users can now train their own models through our new online training portal. Simply upload your CAD parts, configure camera and training settings, and let the system handle the rest. No need to pre-define pick points; just train the model and download it for use in the Cambrian Runtime UI.

  • Online Training Portal: Access from anywhere to set up and manage training processes.
  • Scalable Setup: Train one or more parts at a time, with easy camera and model configuration.

 

3. Runtime and Editing Enhancements

Cambrian Vision 2.0 comes with a new user interface for editing grasp points and collision boxes. The system supports both standard and Full Pose models, giving you the flexibility to work with a variety of workflows and applications.

  • Improved UI: A more intuitive and responsive user interface for better editing and runtime control.
  • On/Offline Editing: Seamless editing experience whether you’re connected to the network or working offline.

Increased Robot Support: Cambrian Vision 2.0 supports an expanded list of robots, offering improved visual representation for easier integration and setup.

Improved Calibration: The calibration process has been refined to be faster and more accurate, enhancing overall system performance.

Optimized Search Grids: Improved search grids allow for more precise detection and faster picking of objects, boosting the efficiency of the entire system.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements: A range of small fixes and enhancements ensure smoother operation, reducing downtime and improving system stability.
