Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to support product development, customer implementation efforts, and on-site technical services in the U.S. This role will involve extensive collaboration with our sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of our cutting-edge AI and robotics solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers, ensuring they understand and can effectively utilise our technology.
  • Develop proof-of-concept projects to showcase the capabilities and advantages of our technology in real-world applications.
  • Spend 50%-60% of your time visiting customer sites across the U.S. and Europe, providing technical support and ensuring successful implementation of our solutions.
  • Lead the installation and configuration of robotics systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent technical issues related to our AI, robotics, and vision systems, both remotely and on-site.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product development team to drive continuous improvement of our products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide pre-sales technical support, including the design and development of custom application solutions using our AI vision systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new application opportunities and ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Review and recommend schematic redesigns to troubleshoot system failures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of product data, application examples, and service logs.
  • Train Sales Representatives and other internal teams on product features, installation processes, and troubleshooting techniques as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Robotics Engineer, Deployment Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Application Engineer, or in a similar technical role, with a strong background in AI, robotics, or vision systems.
  • Basic understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, computer vision, and robotics applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong customer relationships, demonstrating a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. to meet the demands of the role.
